Ya. For ram it's Patriot intel extreme master memory. 8GB. Gonna use the stock cooler till a little after the first of the year and then get a closed loop cooler of some sort.

Gonna get the proc and memory today. Not sure on which motherboard to get. Want to do a Moderate overclock, but will be doing no gaming. Some video encoding. Not wanting to spend alot, but don't want a cheapo board either. Be nice if it was 140 or less. Thanks

Was wondering if anybody has an opinion on what the best book to get to study for the test.

I'm in the processes of ripping all of my kids movies to make copies of them for trips and such and to stream off the computer. I'm wondering what the best format is to keep as close to dvd resolution as possible but make it the smallest possible. Thanks.

Ya, have a copy of Windows 7 and graphics just using either the onboard sandy bridge graphics, or have a 7800gtx, which ever would be better. Not going to be playing games, so that doesn't really matter.

Using an Antec p180 and Antec 550 watt PS. Not sure on the model of the PS. The rest of that sounds good. I'll just use my old raptors for alittle while longer and then get an SSD.

Went with mindovermatter idea. Seagate had a service for that, guess they would be the best at their own drives.
