Autoplay prompt not allowing action choice

Talldude123: The MS Office 2003 Picture Viewer was never selected as the official photo editor in the "Autoplay Feature" prompt as a choice of action. The latter failure occured after I performed a cleanup with "Crap Cleaner v1.26.218," Windows XP's Disk Cleanup," and "Registry Cleaner v5.1."

Desktop Icon Labels contain Large Fonts

Talldude123: I've already accomplished what you've suggested as mentioned in my original statement, above. I've used a variety of Windows Tools, including "Display Properties," "Appearance Tab," "Font Size" set to "Normal" and the results were negative.

Desktop Icon Labels contain Large Fonts

I am trying to resolve a problem which developed on a friend's PC. Windows 98SE Desktop's Icons appear normal in size. However, the labels below all of the Icons display in very LARGE FONTS ... So large, the font text overlaps (expands) the title box making these labels illegible. I'm using MSIE...

Autoplay prompt not allowing action choice

I am running Windows XP (HE)(SP2) on an HP, Pentium IV PC. All installed programs and the operating system perform well. That includes Panda Platinum IS 2006 which has maintained a virus and spyware free environment. After performing a Windows XP Disk Cleanup and defragmentation sequence, the...

Email Fonts Received Appear Too Large

I finally fixed this problem. 'Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling IE v6.0 and Outlook Express including SPs. Evidently, somehow, sometime in the past history of this computer, a file corruption occurred. Even performing a "Windows XP System Restore" did not resolve the issue. Thanks for all...

Email Fonts Received Appear Too Large

Red Fox, I've tried all that you've suggested in your last posting without any improvement. The folks sending their email are NOT sending in large or unusual sized fonts. I must remind you that this problem is on my friend's computer and not my own personal PC. Every email sent to him is...

Email Fonts Received Appear Too Large

I am having difficulty reading my incoming email. The font size is extremely large and a full page is not legible. I'm speaking about LARGE type appearing as a "Size 60 to 80." I'm using AOL v8.0 on a Windows XP Pentium 4 computer with lots of hard drive space, memory and an excellent video...

What's your favorite Anti Virus ( AV ) Program?

Favorite Antivirus Program What is the "Norman Antivirus Program?" I thought it was rather funny that "Apokalipse" voiced his opinion on his favorite antivirus. If you saw the movie: "Psycho," you'd appreciate the laugh I got out of this misnomer. Does your computer store sell old horror movies...

MSIE v6.0 freezes in linking websites

My thanks to all concerned about my IE freezing up problems. I have decided to format my HDD and reinstall Windows XP (HE) in addition to the SP2 CD which I've already received from Microsoft. I've grown weary of trial and error methods and I don't want to attempt "Firefox" or "Opera" at this...
