Hi All any ever herd of some enterprise software called commvault? if so does any one know how to run Ant-virus software alongside? seems the current av scans the stub files and then retrieves the files from backup, on a large network it keeps retreiving all the backs and there are allot.

Boot into safe mode, check event viewer. I would think you will be able to see errors in there. They should give some indication of what the problem is. No point in reinstalling winodows etc until you have an idea of what the problem is. also you could run a gmer scan, ensure there are not...

yo, the router is down stairs. however I do get a good signal. and the works. I have updated the network driver. windows is protruding much upto date. I even unistalled AntiVirus software.

Thats a strange issue, what browser are you using? you may need to upgrade to the latest internet browser, and ensure all windows updates are done.

Avg removal there must still be entries in the regestry. search regedit.

Hi All Come accross this recently, Cryptic.cyk any one any ideas. Malwarebytes, Gmer won't detect it. AVG detects it but will not remove it. seems to primarly infect Iexplore.exe i believe there is a dropper some were, i have checked registry but still no idea how to remove this bad boy. help

Reboot into Safe mode. Run AVG remover, restart pc again into normal windows. Check C:\program files\ (look for avg folders and delete them. reboot again. this should fix the problem

problem solved thanks, used the cleanwipe tool from symantec.

hi all. I seem to be having a problem removing end point security. once I have removed it and go to install smother av. after boot the pc crashes on start up and restarts its self. I am suspecting that end point is not removed completly and is conflicting with the new av. need help
