Hello reader!
I am looking into replacing my Unraid Server to something with (to much) power (consumption:p).
Now I need a GPU and also an HBA board to extend storage. But I don't know much about PCI lanes.
My question is, does the motherboard support enough speed to have the GPU and the HBA...
Thanks, really intrested in the 11400 together with the z490-a-pro motherboard

I went for a clooser look but his RAM looks like it is not supported by the motherboard
His RAM: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
Supported RAM list: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B550-A-PRO#support-mem-19
ah yes, you are right!
We decided to go with an mobo upgrade: MSI Z390-A pro atx. This way we ''could" use an i7-9700f and we can make full use of his ram that can run up to 3200mhz.
Would the i7-9700f still be the best buy for the buck?
Thanks!
(please note that we don't want to spend more...
Hi,
A friend wants to upgrade his cpu, because it is bottlenecking.
We were thinking of an i7-9700f this will drop the bottleneck to 0.4%. He is currently using an i5-7400.
Would this be a wise idea? We don't want to spend more then the i7-9700f that is selling for 238 euro's (netherlands)...
hopefully I made some sense about the router set-up in the picture.
But yes, my router is just an extender to the main router. So I can have my own internet and wifi (without port forwarding :P).

First off all, sorry for wasting your time.
But to make myself feel better, I had no idea about the following:
The problem is not the router.
Indeed ''Virtual servers'' are the way to open your ports.
However, and I had no clue it worked that way.
When you have a router connected...

Already tried it with a another PC on the same network. I was able to connect with via localhost or internal ip.
So I dont think it is the server itself. Just really the fact it wont open my ports...
Btw, what did you mean with ''friends public IP as SRC and always set SRC port to any on your...
