Ahh I know what you're saying. I use the 3 screen's for much more than just gaming. For example, I'll have my primary game in windowed in the main screen while I play an MMORPG on the left screen and sometimes watch a show on the right screen. Or when I'm programming, sometimes 3 screen's isn't...
What's the logic behind that? I don't think I could go back to using a single or double screen, lol.
edit: I'll probably transfer me 3x screen set-up to my new PC with the GTX 1080 and get a single screen for my old one (since I have a $100 discount on a new screen). Or I may sell my old...

Ahh got ya! I went ahead and got the all-in-one unit (my case has the proper mount for it) so I'll try it out. Thanks again so much for both of you all your recommendations and info!!
Don't those require a water supply for it to cycle through? Most I've seen include a large clear cylinder that it draws water from/too, which you then have to change out every few months. Sorry, I'm completely new to liquid cooling but you make it seem really easy for even a beginner :D
I...
Thank you both, this is exactly the kind of info I was looking for!

Thanks so much for all that helpful information! While I want to stick with an intel processor, I will probably go for an i7-8700k (6-core, right?) like you suggested. I plan to stick to gaming (I do computer programming but that doesn't require anything from a hardware perspective) so a 4 or 6...
It's been 9 years since I built my current gaming PC and it's time for a new build (desktop).
I'm a pretty avid gamer and willing to spend the 2-3k dollars for a build that is going to last me. (Because we all know we need a cutting edge 3k dollar gaming pc to play those 2D indie games on steam...
Thank you Mguire!
The video card / motherboard were bought by a friend and obtained through a trade. So it's what I'm stuck with, but will suit my needs :)
Thanks for steering me right, I'll pick those up and add them to my build!

Hi guys, my friend is building his first system and wants to get the Sapphire Radeon 280X, but I'm trying to pursuade him to get the GTX 670 since I'm biased and like Nvidia drivers way more.
So I thought I'd get a third soure for him, and ask you guys for oppinions on which you think he should...
I'm an avid gamer so I keep my card up to date. Updating the BIOS though, I haven't ever done that, I will give it a shot and let you guys know. As for RMA'ing the card I can't at this point I've had it since 09, but yes it might just be a faulty card after all. As for checking the events...
