Need Help Setting up SCCM 2016 (1606) for PXE Boot and OS Deployment

Update: I fixed it. I just needed to wait for the unknown computers (x64 and x86) to show up in the collections which is where I deployed the task sequence to. Thanks for the help!

Need Help Setting up SCCM 2016 (1606) for PXE Boot and OS Deployment

Update: I finally got rid of the 0xc98 error. I created a task sequence and deployed it to the Unknown Computers collection (only media and PXE). Then I booted my client machine (64-bit) and this time it keeps saying: PXE Boot aborted. Booting to next device... PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM...

Need Help Setting up SCCM 2016 (1606) for PXE Boot and OS Deployment

OK, I followed the article. I enabled PXE on the distribution point (all options and set the password). I then distributed the x86 and x64 boot images and enabled PXE on both. I then created the task sequence and deployed it (made available to media and PXE). Then, I tried booting my client...

Need Help Setting up SCCM 2016 (1606) for PXE Boot and OS Deployment

I've been trying to set SCCM 2016 up so I can use it to deploy OSs via PXE boot. But I just CANNOT get my client machines to boot correctly. It keeps booting to WDS and not SCCM. I enabled PXE boot (all options and password) on the distribution point, enabled DHCP on a separate server, and...

Problem when making VMs highly available; all get grouped together under just 1 Role

I don't know how to explain this but when I go to make my Hyper-V VMs highly available using the Failover Cluster Manager, for some reason they all get grouped together under just one role. In the wizard, I select all the VMs I want made highly available, but after the wizard completes, only 1...

Help Configuring VM Roles for High Availability

I'm relatively new to this so bear with me. I've recently created a failover cluster network in a VMWare Workstation 14 environment. It consists of 1 storage server and 2 cluster nodes. All 3 of them running Windows Server 2016 Standard and joined to the same domain. I added and configured the...

Domain user profile folders show up as username and NOT username.domainname

I created a new domain user account through Active Directory on Windows Server 2012 R2. Whenever I log into ANY of my domain-joined PCs (all running windows 7 pro 64-bit) with my domain account, it prepares my new desktop and I get in just fine. Then, I navigate to my user profile folder and...

Domain accounts aren't showing up in user accounts list on local PC

In my home, I have a single Windows Server 2012 R2 machine running as an Active Directory server and a domain controller. In Active Directory, I created a new user named Brian. I joined my Windows 7 Pro laptop to the domain bernhard71793.local. Then I logged in (on my laptop) with the...

How do I restore win7 from windows.old after installing MicrosoftTechPreview(Win10)?

Hi, I just recently installed Microsoft's Tech Preview (Windows 10) and for some reason it copied (upgraded) over my windows 7 x64 OS. I just wanted to install it on a separate partition away from Windows 7 but it never gave me the option to. I found that my Windows 7 got moved to the...
