So Atomic if you were me what laptop would you take? Which brand has more reliability number one and number two what could benefit me for having the HDMI out in the HP over the Toshiba. Also I am not sure what they mean by RGB on the Toshiba is this component?

Umm its the router....however i want to know how to set the pppoe because i think it has something to do with her verizon requiring a login to connect so with the router you need to configure
yeah she has a linksys BEFW11SF and when the router is plugged in I get nothing but 0's for the ip address and yes she does have to login to use the internet when the modem is directly plugged to the PC....so what settings would she need to do to the router

Hey I have done ipconfig/renew and it does not fix the problem...i dont know if it has something to do with the signing on with verizon and dialing up.....like it requires a username and pass and when the router is in the dialup does not work...As for my task manager no i do not see win32 i see...
Bruce also with my problem i have a file in services in msconfig called MSCONFIGSVC...on google it says it may be a worm...im thinking this is what was causing my problem
