Yea, I am pretty sure I have done that already but I shall do it again. I have an e5200, gigabyte motherboard, 3gb ram, onboard sound, ati 4700

So I have windows 7 and I simply cannot figure out why I have no sound for anything played off the computer. Basically any audio or video file has zero sound regardless of format or media player used. The strange thing is sound played with chrome or firefox works (youtube, grooveshark, etc)...

So it recognizes it in bios and windows 7 wants you to format it? It sounds the like the drive is spinning and working but something is corrupt maybe some bad sectors or something like that. Anyways, I don't see why you can't just use a drive recovery tool right now?

ok, I will do that, my sis has pulled it off multiple times to clean it 0.o. I didn't know it was possible, maybe I should get her off that stock heat sink bs!

So right when I start the computer up, if I go into bios, it reads the cpu as being at 86c right away. Now this of coarse is not possible as I had it sitting off for a day, power it on, and right away it reads it like that... I believe it is this problem that is causing the computer to reboot...

I figured out the catch, its a refurb...o well. I would get the ssd, but she is computer retarded so I am sure she would be incapable of installing that lol. But I will be seeing her later this year, so I will prob order then and install for her. It should improve battery life to right?

I get what your saying, but when its single player, hdmi fills both the tv and the monitor just fine. But when I spit screen it, the sides get cropped off a little bit.
