Dban has nothing to do with this drive. That was with an old drive that had a virus I shouldn't have even mentioned it. But I did try using the backup disc with this drive and it gave me an error. I do have another disc though that I will try. I thought it would be nice to just be able to remove...
I just got a hard drive from an old laptop at my school and put it in my own laptop without thinking of how to get rid of novell. I have no way of getting the admin password. I would prefer not having to nuke the hdd because I have used dban with other drives and I haven't had great experiences...
