I know Firefox uses a lot of resources and that's all I had running at the time (active) with discord and steam running on idle.
My CPU Temps were about 45C and my GPU was about 50C
Hi,
This just happened and I'm not sure why.
I was using my computer as usual andboth my monitors became a black screen and a white screen respectively (Main/Secondary). The music i was playing also stopped so i'm inclined to believe it's not a GPU problem but of course i can be wrong. The GPU...
I'm currently running my old 5850 in it right now and seems to work fine. I saw the system post before I installed the card.
Tbf I was getting artifacts on my monitor for several months before the gpu fried. I just never expected it to go out like this. DX
Ah. OK.
So I just found a 1080ti zotac AMP edition for 700 -2% from ebates on neweggs eBay page. Is this a good card / deal that I should consider? Should be brand new
Hey thanks for the quick reply. I just noticed that the open box 1080 only includes the card, other accessories are missing. Still worth it?
Also how much ram is not enough? Is what I have enough?
Hi guys so about an hour ago my gtx970 fried as i was napping and wanted to know what the best gpu I could get for my system could be.
I live about 40 minutes from a microcenter and their gpu prices aren't all completely stupid. Also have option for open box for much cheaper.
I still need to...
I'm probably going to pull the trigger on the 8350. I just saw it went on sale for $99.99 with a $40 MIR, down from $130 when i last checked when you mentioned it
Oh yeah, for sure.
I wasn't planning on skipping a step. I was just wondering if I could use it normally after updating the BIOS and swapping the chip out if it boots with a weird name.
Do FX8350 fit in the board? I checked the box last year or so and remembered i was quite sad the Socket was only AM3 and not AM3+ because i bought it before bulldozer came out.
when i get home from work i'll double check to see if it's AM3+ or not.
Edit: I just double checked online, I could...
The PSU hasn't been used much tbh. The whole computer was used for around 2-3 years before it got replaced. Would that still warrant a replacement?
Also, what is an average price to expect for a 1090T?
Hi Friends
i was thinking about upgrading an old desktop of mine for my dad. He hasn't had a personal computer for a while and has been using his work laptop for the past couple years. He wants to use the computer for personal entertainment and work related things (CAD).
The build is from 2010...
So an update a week later,
Friend sent back his RX480 for repairs and has been using his i5-6600k integrated graphics. Just recently it started dying. Is this from the motherboard failing and his GPU was fine?
