Don't use a case on my LG Ozone. I've dropped it down a concrete stairs, dropped it in gravy, and dropped it off the roof of a car that was going 30 MPH. And it's lived through all of it. Sure, it's scratched and scuffed up a bit but it still works fine.

Referring to the monitor discussion, I don't even know what my monitors are (TN vs. IPS). One was cheap and the other was free. The cheap one is my main monitor, and it looks a lot better then the other one. :P
Yeah I have to say that while they aren't fast (it is just DSL), the speeds are always constant. The only problem is when we have multiple people trying to watch videos we get lag, but that's to be expected. We pay $35 a monh for the 3Mb package. It's $40 if you don't have your phone through...
The highest speed we can get from our ISP is 5Mb, and I'm pretty sure you have to be pretty close to them to get that. We are .5 miles from them so we could probably get that speed.
