if i use the windows recovery console to restore windows...will it format the hard drive? im trying to fix my girls notebook and she has all these important files in drive c:. please help. thanks. btw, its nice to post something here again. :)

the answer to that is simple,..brand names like corsair, crucial,.etc are likely to perform at the same speed as any other rams in the category you mentioned,..the only difference is that...these are quality rams and are less likely to fail, compared to generic/cheap rams.

it was a combination of your advice about the firewall, etc...and a lot of persistence:) and there was also conflict created by using different adapters.

to all networking gurus.... how do i network two laps ?....netcards are connected via crossover cable...both are running xp pro. somehow...i both laps detect each other but i cant access one laptop thru the other... how do i set it up correctly? thanks in advance

how big is you HD? if you want to take the space from d and transfer to c...you cab use a hard drive partitioning software called, partition magic . its easy to use.

i agree wid ya...the story always sucks...especially the part where max and mona sax got it on and was interuptd by these cleaner guys....goodthing rockstar did a good job with the graphics...plus the new bullet time reload. anyway,..i always thought HL was great.
