ok.. like everyone else i need a better pc like yesterday...so here's what i'm looking at
Athlon 64 Fx-55
DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-D
Dual Nvidia 6800 ultra SLI (evga brand)
Seagate 36 gig 10000 rpm
seagate 400 gig 7200 rpm
ocz technology 600 watt p/s :)
logitech mx900
but, I'm in need of the...
router, switch will do the trick and alot of rj45 wire... hook all the computers up.. rest your cable modem, rest the router and your set... it's all really plug and play...
i don't think it's your sound card... it might be your microphone... what sensitivity do you have it set at in CS... i also play counter-strike and in the options menu you can set your microphone on different settings... try playing around in there.... looook me up in CS:S
Cerebral_Assassin...
ok listen... with windows xp if your using an operating system on it .... it will only give you 130 gb's on it... i don't know why but, i ran into the same thing... w/ my seagate 200 gig... so i bought a 80 gig and installed windows... hooked up the 200 gig and formatted it threw windows and it...
i don't really think there is a limit with win 2000 ... I've used win2000 running 1024 (2x512) ram ddr and had no porblems... it's prolly more or less what the motherboard will support..
first of all... i use memorex cd's all the time in some of the crapiest and stock cdrw drives... So your error isn't with your cd's or your cdburner... it's prolly with the programs your using... see i've never used trial anything... Nero is the only burning program i use to burn cd's and most...
lets see...
nero
roxio easy cd/dvd creator..
dvdsanta
there's alot just gotta search for it... and hope your dvdplayer plays the files .... certain dvd players will play certain formats and are picky about the cd-r and cd-rw or dvd-r dvd+r ...all dvd burners can read cd-rs and cd-rw's...
