Hey guys. I am trying to see whether I want to build a media center PC, or just stick with Roku/Boxee type solutions. Is there a Linux distro (e.g. Ubuntu) that is good for this purpose where I don't have to do any configuration - i.e. anti-virus / firewall / media players / media codecs, etc...

IBM 486 SX (no math co-processor) with 4MB of RAM and 170MB HDD. I recall owning a S3 Virge graphics card... It may have been on this computer.
