Thermaltake level 10 GT with seidom 240m

Actaully, my first choice was the H100i cooler... from the reviews it seems like it works better... but it didn't have 1150 on the compatibility list on newegg... however now it looks like 1150 is on the list and on corsairs website it is listed. I also googled it (my CPU is also 4770k) H100i...

Thermaltake level 10 GT with seidom 240m

Does it look like I can mount this cooling system in this case? Not exactually sure how I would install the two 120mm fans... there's no room. What do you guys think? It's with a haswell 1150 chip, none of the other cooling systems fit 1150...

Any tips to remove redirect viruses?

The umbrella term "Virus" is kind of funny... To kill anything under that "Umbrella", just run Malwarebytes, then Combofix. You'll be good to go. After those two, go ahead and run CCleaner and the reg portion of CCleaner. If you're on XP defrag the computer after that. Go in that order and your...

    Windows will no longer install.

Reading the first post I thought it was the CD drive too, but he's tried installing from USB, and even after installing from CD Windows runs slow. That rules that out. If you have multiple HDDs with multiple cables that rules itself out if none of them work. I would agree with the mobo.

    Windows will no longer install.

You're sure the W7 ISO isn't jacked? You have tried installing on a SATA drive rather than SSDs in a raid? (SSDs+raid=bad because of garbage collecting when I looked at it 6 months - a year ago... could be different by now) You have put W7 on a jump drive with the Windows tool and tried to...

Networking buildings with cat6 above ground

Excellent posts! Thank you guys very much! And sorry I haven't gotten back in a while. I realize that my listing in numerical order below may sound attacking, I really don't mean it to. I just want future responders to be able to refer to each problem easily. Thanks again for the posts...

Networking buildings with cat6 above ground

I'm in Texas. Burrying it was my first go-to, but that seems to not be an option. The ATT guy and I are friends, he said go ahead and run it with the other cable, it's not a problem :) He also offered to come and help when the time comes. I just don't know if I need to purchase cat 6 4pair, or...

Networking buildings with cat6 above ground

A church asked me to network their three buildings. They don't want me to bridge, they want a physical connection between all three buildings. The old ATT guy ran their phone lines on the existing utility poles. He put some J hooks a little lower than all of the other wires and just ran his...

    Should I upgrade? Win8

From a manager standpoint, it sucks. Well, I guess I shouldn't say it sucks... it just takes more steps to do anything than in Windows 7. You have to go through that "Metro" screen to do anything. You find yourself working on the desktop, then you need to run another program... so you have to...

    Bridging buildings

Alright, we're near the end of 2012. There's bound to be some new products people have been exposed to other than Cisco. Right now I need to network a Church. The church has three buildings that arn't very far apart, but are composed of thick brick. Even an extender doesn't penetrate the brick...

Home 'Mianframe': Terminals in each room w/ 1 PC??

You're right, I have made the same effort. Very quickly I resorted to (internally) mstsc and (externally) team viewer. Remoting in is very easy. I would just remote in to your main computer from every computer. I have my awesome (awesome by 6 years ago standards.. still going strong today)...

    Permissions to a shared folder

I'm virtualizing using hyper-V. I have a server running 2008 that I've made a file server. I set up folders in the C drive and I share them. I have a structure in place for redirects and shares and things. One of my directories goes like this: Shares (which is shared)\(Grade level folders)...

    Mapping drives through GPO

Alright... So my account is working on the laptop, but not my computer. The teacher account isn't working on either. I tried simply running the VBS (Don't know why I didn't do that earlier) and here's what I came up with. When running the VBS, my account maps the drives on my computer. So...
