Are you sure I can't upgrade the CPU? I had an E1505, which is the same style computer, and I could upgrade it.

I have a dell inspiron 6400 and I'm trying to upgrade the processor and memory module. I can't seem to figure out what type of processors will work with the motherboard (MM061-Dell). If anyone can help me out with this, I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I know that was a little late but I felt like throwing in my 2 cents ha. Sonar and Adobe are very easy to use and yes!!! no digidesign hardware! haha.. I'm one of those people with a lower end budget.haha

I agree with you rican... I really like Sonar.. Adobe Audition 3.0 is really nice as well, the only thing that I prefer over Adobe with Sonar is the nudge feature.. I haven't found the nudge feature in Adobe.. other than that I actually like Adobe 3.0 better than Sonar.. I need to try Sonar 3.0...

I have a dell E1505 and I want to upgrade it. I've taken everything apart and i want to get a new processor. My motherboard it an MD666. I "think" its a socket M, not sure but even if it is I want the new best of the best (QX9300!!!) haha.. idk if there's anything newer coming out that info...

well.. um price range is kind of negotiable.. i'm willing to wait a while and get a good mic or buy one now.. here's what i got goin on.. i have a cakewalk power studio 660 and an mxl 990 mic. Lets say my range is 0-2000$ but don't kill me.
