play it safe and call someone like antec and ask if their power supply will work in your dell. the older dells did require a dell power supply or an adapter. this may not be a issue on newer dells.

thanks really strange. the type still appears to have big spacing between sentences but when i print the letter it looks normal.

also download the easytune program from gigabyte for your motherboard . if you still have the driver install disk its also on there.

it almost sounds like the reset and power switch connectors going from the case to the motherboard are switched.
