When I first built my pc about two months ago, one of the first games I played was Painkiller HD, and it ran perfectly. Consistently 60fps throughout the whole game. Now I consistently get bad framerates (20fps during any action). Other games that ran well now seem a bit clunky around the edges...

Is there any way to readjust the x and y sensitivity of a trackpad? It seems weird how mousing up and down is so slow when left and right is so much quicker.

So I bought a laptop for general use and school (Asus X-series) about a fortnight ago, and it came pre-loaded with Windows 8. After two weeks of trying to live with it, I've given up. Is it at all possible, in any way, to change the operating system back to windows 7?

I know not to defrag an SSD, but I have nearly 30GB of fragmented files (according to Defraggler) :( Any solutions?

Could anyone recommend a good netbook for under or around $400? I only really need it for schoolwork, so it doesn't need a big screen, a gpu or more than 240GB of space. However, I need Windows (7 or 8), it can't be too fragile and a good battery life wouldn't hurt :p Thanks in advance :D

Nothing. Even though I live in a city of 50000, we're still classed as a 'regional center' so all of our internet connections go through the phone lines.

See the great thing about having internet as slow as mine (maxes out at about 120kb/s) is that you never reach the cap lol.

The laptop I'm writing this from is an Acer Aspire One. It has roughly the same specs as above: No GPU, Intel Celeron, and 2GB of RAM. Minecraft runs like a powerpoint.
