My understanding was that Intel had its own 64 bit but it could not run 32 bit AMD had the technology that ran 64 but could also run 32 and Intel purchased it from them. ?

Not to get off topic at all here but anyone had Housecall issue's with the new JAVA? I tried to run it on several systems and it says "not installed" but it is. it only been since the new release.

I don't think flashing your BIOS or pulling the CMOS battery is going to do anything for you. the BIOS cannot get a Virus.. it would have to have it flashed into it and thats extremely unlikely. sound like a possible nuke and pave situation.

Vista 64 and i agree, I use xp pro on my work box and after all my complaining i miss Vista when I am on it lol isn't MS ending xp support this year?
