Official Tech-Forums Post Your "Picture of the Day" Thread! (56k Warning)

DPReview?

but watch out for the forums, there are WAY too many people on there that think that good pictures = high end gear, regardless if the pictures is crap or not.

in fact, dpreview's forums are easily the worst ever, very little pertinent and real information comes from there so just ignore that suggestion, most of the people on there are just friggin idiot gear heads..but it's sooo addicting!!

The articles and reviews are top notch...go figure.

I'll tell her exactly that, thanks Switch. She is very good with photography and knows what to appreciate, and what is BS. She always gets mad about the idiots who go and buy a $900+ camera and take pictures and claim artistry. And she's right.

I couldn't have put a heavier vignette on this if itried

Taken at Clearwater Beach, Fl. with my D40 and some Cokin ND Grad filters. Lens distortion removed, leveled horizon, bumped saturation, contrast, and sharpness etc. in CS4.
