Windows Movie Maker 12

I am trying to install Windows Movie Maker 12 on my computer. I have to use the Windows Essentials to install and i have unchecked everything except for Windows movie maker. Then it installs ok until about 55% and then it hangs.

Then after a while it comes up with this error message.

I tried to do a cleanboot by going to "msconfig.exe" and still does not install properly.
I am on a Windows 7 machine. let me know if you need machine specs.

Thanks for your reply. The Firewall has been on for the last few installs i have tried, but i have tried one without firewall and security programs and it doesn't make any difference either.

I have read on other forums about adjusting permissions of different registry keys would that work or am i best not to touch those?
