windows 10 drivers

What are you looking for drivers for on Windows 10? Windows 10 isn't officially supported so its most likely that the manufacturer of the device drivers you need doesn't have them out.

Are you talking about HDD / chipset drivers? Should be from your motherboard manufacturer's website.

Just be advised, since Win10 isn't officially released and is only a Tech Preview... they might not have any released. You could try Win8.1's drivers and see if they would work, though.

Yes, i think it is those type of drivers, but it appears i'm not having luck with windows 10; what about windows 7? what are the drivers i should download? My computer manufacturer is Packard Bell, i don't know what my motherboard manufacturer is. Sorry, i'm dumb at this stuff.

Post the model number of your system and we can look it up.

Is Win7 also prompting for SATA/Chipset drivers on install?

Model number? Where do i find that? Can't find it on computer bios information.
And yes, Win7 is also prompting for SATA/Chipset drivers on install
(btw, thank you for wasting your time with this =)

The model of your computer - it should be on the front of your computer somewhere. Or possibly on a sticker that also has your serial number. You said the brand was a Packard Bell, so we need the model number as well.
