Need help with this??

I just got one of my video's the I filmed on my digital cam. I re encoded the format. I click on my video icon. I get this message

Is their a fix for this? I am running vista home basic O/S

what happen when you open a video play and load the file via file > open?

what did you use to encode the video? Does it run on another computer / in another player?

may want to try encoding the file again using one of these.
