Xerox xa7-19i problems

Hi, Whenever I turn on my monitor it displays the computers output briefly (half a second) before going blank. I have tried the monitor on two other computers with the same result so it is definetaly not a computer problem. The power light on the front of the monitor stays green when the screen goes blank. Whenever I turn the power off and back on again the exact same thing happens.

Can you get into the BIOS? And, after waiting for however long u wait for your computer to start up, can you run somthing like a game from a cd and have sound? Or, if your pc has a startup sound, can you hear the sound?

Computer is fine, im using a dell monitor on it. when i hook the other monitor up the screen comes up when the computer boots up, then screen goes black but the green light is on still solid green.
