mouse is ****ing me off , 1 click = 2

its makin me so mad, i dont want a new mouse cuz my grandma paid like 30$ or w/e it was for this for Christmas and It's barely been a year, its a MS optical mouse (5 button), and sometimes when i click the computer thinks i click twice, and it makes me mad because i dont want 2 of the same program opened:@

I had the same problem with my mouse and didn’t want to get a new one till I could afford and wireless and mouse keyboard set thing. The problem with mine was the button so I switched the primary and second button around in the control panel. The mouse is going fine and it only took a short while to get used to the switch.

you should simply be able to go into your mouse control panel and change what happens when you click, and the double click rate of speed

if i slow it down it will still do this, and if i speed it up i dont wanna have to click any faster and it will still do that because if i click once and it takes it as a dbl click, its thinkin theres like.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000001 seconds between clicks so its still taking it as 2 clicks(sorry if theres too much emphasis there) haha

If you slow it way down, it shouldn't do that anymore.

don't suppose this mouse came with software or something like that.....if it did it'd probably create certain hotkeys or something, but yeah I've never really had a mouse with more than 3 buttons, and the 3rd button being the mousewheel itself...so I've never come across this problem
