Random Black Screen + Crash shortly after

Hi guys,
straight to my problem:

I get random black screens, then a sound loop/freeze and a restart shortly after.
NO crashdump files get created. (Yes, I checked everything to have them enabled)

My Hardware:
CPU: i5-2500k @ 4GHZ
GPU: Zotac GTX 970
RAM: 2GB G.Skill 1600 (4 times => 8GB)
Mainboard: Asus P8P67-M Pro Rev 3.0
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer (520W, 80+)

What I've done to try to fix my problem:
Reinstall Graphics Drivers (always clean install)
Reinstall Windows
Checking RAM with Memtest86 (nothing faulty)
Checking GPU with furmark (nothing faulty)
Checking CPU with prime95 (nothing faulty)
Checking if the components get enough power from the PSU (they do)
Removing OC on my CPU
Underclocking my GPU slightly (read about that in other forums)

The crashes do not appear under load, they're seemingly random.
As I said, no dumpfile is created and all temperatures are fine.
There's nothing except "the last shutdown was unexpected" in the event log after a crash (I guess it's a hardware problem then?).

I don't have the possibility to test another PSU or Mainboard.
If we could narrow down the problem to a faulty Mainboard/PSU I'd ofc buy another one, but since im kinda broke at the moment, I don't wanna jump the fence.

Did I change anything before the crashes occured?
Yes, I switched from a faulty AMD HD7970 GHZ Edition to the Zotac GTX 970.
My PC had a load of other problems with the HD7970 (not the black screen + sound loop though).
I'm open for RMA'ing the GTX970, but I also don't wanna jump the fence on that since I need a system to work on ( if it works ).

I suspect the mainboard to be faulty.
Or the new GPU, but I'm not sure since it works under load (tested).
What do you guys think?
EDIT: Or maybe the PSU? I'm at a loss.

Since this is my first post here, I hope I abided by the rules.
Thanks for your time and help!

- Tim

Log back into your windows machine and look at the event viewer.
Click on windows logs and then click once on system.
Once the log view opens up pinpoint the date where the bsod happen.
You may see a red x error or yellow exclamation warning you of a problem.

It should be able to give a you a hint at where the problem is.
Right click on that error and view the details if you can't make sense of it.
Click copy and bring it back here either I or someone else will look into it further and see whats going on.

As I said, no event indicating a crash is created.
I RMAd the new graphics card just to be sure that it's not the culprit of the crashes.
I also got a new case and I'm waiting for some money to come in to maybe get a new mobo.
I also benchmarked and tested all components again, without fail.
Does anybody else have any ideas on what is going on?

Run it in safe mode and see if it crashes, if it doesn't then you most likely have a driver issue. If it does then you should look into a hardware problem
