Default Help: New Build: Windows 7 rebooting issues. Any thoughts?

Hey Guys its been a while since i posted anything on these forums or for that matter since I built a PC. This past Monday I bought and assembled all the parts for a brand new rig. Here are the specs:

i72600k
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 LGA 1155 Z68 ATX
8 gigs of 1600mhz ram
1tb Hitachi 7200
Zotec Gtx 480gtx amp
Water cooler.

Assembly went well, however when I popped in my windows 7 disk and started installing it got all the way to finishing your installation and then froze. I waited 20 mins then restarted. It seemed to pick right up where it left off and finished installing. Since then I have had a number of blue screens and ultimately it came down to windows explorer failing multiple time through multiple reboots.

Any thoughts?

Let me know if you need more detail.

What did you use to format your drive?
