Question Power supply lost power to 2 drives and 2 fans.

I have a dynex power supply which I bought over 2 years ago.
This year it has given me a few problems by not feeding enough power to 2 hdd's and 2 dvd-rw's.
I overclocked my phenom 8400 by 5%, the computer refuses to come on, I reset the cmos and now I only have the main hdd and one dvd burner working.
I tested the dead connections with my backup and couldn't get it to jump start.
My 2 big fans are off to prevent further problems with my power supply.

Would this suit my computer better ? I am trying to go for 500 watts PSU.

That looks like a pretty terrible PSU. Sunbeam is in the "low end" section of the PSU guide but I wouldn't go for it.

What would you go for then ?
I am trying to pay less than 39.99 for one and trying to keep the shipping costs down.
I might have to wait until the end of the year to buy a new psu.
If thats the case, I will barely need to use this computer for a bit and use my laptop to do my work.

Your not going to find a decent 500 watt power supply in that range. This one is only 450 watts and $49.99 plus shipping but it's the best I see in the approximate price range.

That's a solid PSU as well, Sora used to recommend it a lot in the past.
