Opty 2354 "Barcelona"
Server CPU.
Socket F.
2.2Ghz
2mb l3 cache

Can run in a dual cpu board with another one.

What will your build be used for?

I'll be using mostly general. No gaming to speak of; Can buy this processor from a buddy at work for 50.00 bucks. Was just hoping to warrant a build off of a great price
Not sure what MB I would even use..

thanks
David

Most socket F boards I found were dual cpu boards and on the expensive side. $300ish. Couple with that the cost of ecc ram and you would be better served with a Phenom II or i5 over a opteron as the basis for your new build.

A member here has four MSI K9ND Speedster mobos for sale. These use standard DDR2 667 RAM.
FS: MSI Original K9ND Speedster

While you can't post in the BST forum, he does have the email option turned on and can be contacted that way.
