Depends on your definition of better. I'm akin to Android, others prefer iOS.

I've considered the switch back to Android myself, but I went to iOS in the first place because it felt more basic and user friendly. My techie friends enjoy the open-ness of the Android OS, I think I'm just done with Apple for now.

I'd go with the Galaxy S5 since the iPhone 5 is almost two years old at this point.

I'm going to say.. HTC One M8 Better build quality than the S5

As far as that goes, check out the LG G3 or even the G2. I have an Optimus G Pro and love it.

^ Personally I'd steer clear of the LG G3 because of battery life. That's the main reason I got the M8 over it. My M8 lasts all day and still has 40% left afterwards. From what I've heard, the G3 only lasts like 8 hours.
