Was Java hacked or something? because I turned on my laptop this morning and every now and then it asks me to update things, Java, windows, reader...etc. So today it asked me to update Java so like normal I did. It wasn't even half updated and I was getting an outrageous amounts of 'suspecious activity' from a program/file called FUI trying to connect to about 100 things on my pc.
After denying them all and Cntrl+Alt+Del on the installation my anti virus caught 3 mal.signs .
After seaching online about Java and viruses the only thing I came across was a new tab pop up that people clicked thinking it was the official Java, which of course I didn't, it just came up on start up looking for admin rights to proceed with installation.
Has anyone any idea whats up? I'm running scans with AVG, Malwarebyts and Ad Aware now just incase something managed to get onto my laptop.
Update: Quick scans found nothing. Will proceed to full scans now.
