I just installed outlook 2000 on my puter. I want to be able to download emails from my webmail account - the software used is Horde - but I want to leave the emails on the server AND only download new emails. Right now I have outlook set up to leave the messages on the server but every time my 'puter goes to check for new messages it downloads all 1,280 emails from the server! I now have more than 5,000 emails in my outlook inbox! I know that I can use imap but I don't just want the headers. I want the whole message on my pc. Can I do this? I am looking for an option that says "download all unread emails, leave them on the server but mark them as read". Is there some software that will do this? Thanks in advance.
