Default Internet inconsistency

I have a laptop with wireless capabilities. I have cable internet service at 6MPS. When surfing the internet, there r many instances when I click on a site, it will take a long time to load the page. Most of the time, when I press "Stop", then "Refresh", it will then load quickly. Why is this & what can I do to speed up my surfing? Thanks

I would look at your “Internet Options” sounds like you are storing lots of “Temporary Internet Files” > Settings try setting to 1MB then “Delete Files and “Offline Content” and finally “Clear History”

This just plain happens from time to time. There are too many possible points of failure here that could cause that to happen. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
