Default blocking router?

Looking to keep my roomates off my internet. We have cat mouse game going and i can't seem to get ahead.
router/ modem ZyXEL PK5000Z from directtv I thouht i only allowed access to my mac address but they seam to still be on.. Also they are plugged in with ethernet cables now so maybe i only blocked wireless? Any way to block their ethernet connection without unplugging them?

Might be able to set security on your router to block specific MACs. Might be able to get their MAC address fromthe connected clients page in the router (if yours has one) and then block those MACs.

Well if they are plugged in, that is going to be an issue and the only way you could stop them would be with a block of the MAC address. Unless you pull out the cable. But the truth is there is not going to be any difference if you unplug the cable or block their MAC. Either way their PC is going to show no connection and they are going to come to you asking whats up. So it is better to face it head on and stop playing games. Either disconnect them or disconnect the service completely.
