Default Would you use an appliance based DR solution for your business?

In an economy calling for a tightening of belts, does it seem like a solid choice to move away from replication as a high performance DR choice to a quality appliance based solution, and would you consider it for you business IT needs? With appliances like QuorumLabs, Novell, Zenith and more these seem (to me at least) to be the right choice for the budget minded IT professional.

What does everyone think about these out-of-the-box solutions?

i havent seen any of these solutions. can you post some links?

our online backup vendor provides a local appliance which we can restore from and to. when i say restore to, i mean it has the ability to host virtual machines for when we're in a pinch and need the hardware t be serviced or delivered.

the price of online storage and colo's have dropped significantly over the past 3 years. its a great benefit to have the ability to restore in a dr data center.

the last around i wanted to setuo a CA IROD solution; short for Instant Recovery On-Demand. CDW is a reseller.

For my situation, no.
I simply have way to much data to control and an appliance wouldn't do the trick. I need auto loading, GFS, large tapes (800/1600MB minimum), a tape library and multiple tape drives that support fibre.
In a smaller place, it would probably be warranted to take a look at these though.
