Yes. That would be where you would put the Pagefile. In Linux that drive is called a SWAP Drive.

If I don't have a second hard drive can I just make a new partition for the page file? , or does that defeat the purpose?

it would have a terrible access time which would defeat the purpose of it. Put it at the front of your 1st hard drive

Okay, it is showing the 6000 partion as unpartioned after I hit f3 f3 to restart,but it is showing the second partition as D still. (I am at the window where you can create partitions and such) is that because when it was restarting I hit f12 and selected boot from cd instead of just letting it boot from cd?

Nvm, I figured it out lol.
