Need help deciding...

So recently my school got us all unlimited Lynda subscriptions (Online video tutorials & training | lynda.com)

I thought I mine as well take the jump and start learning some programming, currently I'm looking into Ruby, PHP, and Python.

I'm just curious if any of you guys ever used their tutorials before, and if you can suggestion any of their tutorials that you thought were good

Can't say I've ever used Lynda...but I assume they have categories for different languages and such. Find the higher rated ones, ones for beginners, etc.

What made you decide to start with Ruby, PHP, and Python? Just curious.

Mainly just because I plan on building web based applications. But I'm still new to coding so any suggestions are welcomed

Ruby and PHP are good ones. Not sure how much Python is used in web, I guess.

I'm mainly a .NET Developer though, so I use C#/VB.NET and ASP.NET for web development that requires a server backend.
