If this thread continues... I would like it to be about "NEW" ways, techniques, ideas, software, etc. etc. on how to combat spam and/or virusus. Anything NEW :)

I've never used Avast, but AVG does me well :)
IE always gave me viruses and spyware due to the security holes.
I've had no problems ever since I switched completely to Firefox.
...just a note for those who want to [i]prevent[/i] all that stuff from happening in the first place.

Speaking of Firefox (world's greatest browser in my opinion), does anyone have any idea when they plan to make a stable release available?
