nameless icons?

I've tried to make nameless icons on my winXP by using the instructions “Right-click the icon you want to appear nameless and select Rename. Make sure Num Lock is turned on (above the numeric keypad on your keyboard), then hold down Alt as you type 0160 ” but when I hold down the ALT key the other keys won't work. Has anybody actually ever done this? If you have, please tell me What am I doing wrong here? If you know of a different way to create unnamed icons I would love to know.

I just tryed what you said and it worked for me. Even when i hade Num Lock turned off.

So sorry i dont know what your problem is.
