hi peeps ... could someone answer the following Q plz ...

Q: has ms put a hidden script in Windows XP SP1 that destroys or at least kills copied versions of xp ... i know of this from a guy in the states but would like to know if it is a true fact ...

Hiya Scary, the short sharp answer is YES - well, lets say that it will not allow you to install SP1!! There is however a way to successfully overcome that without having to wipe anything off the drive, just have to reinstall your version of XP ....AFTER you do a few more steps, using a new serial number. I will write down every step I took and tell you where to get the associated programs that you need as well.
Just bear with me for a short while - dont want to give you any false moves.
