11-8-2009: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry Windows XP startup disk??Go to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: Wizard Is there a way to make a start-up disk for XP. If not, how do I install it on a virgin drive?? Wiz Posted by: huck326 You can get any kind of boot disk you need from http://www.bootdisk.com However if you have a bootable CD-Rom you can install from that. One note you will need 6 (six) floppy disks in order to install on a virgin drive using the floppy method. Posted by: Wizard Thanks Posted by: Martin If you need to get into 'real' MS-DOS mode, you can use any Win9x startup disk... however if your drive is under NTFS (which DOS is unable to read the partition), the next best thing to go with is NTFSDOS. Posted by: Buster Hymen There are also disk makers put out by MS in case you don't have a bootable CD-ROM.
