See you there, Larry MS Publisher weirdnessGo to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: morley Has anyone run into a problem with MS publisher where when you save a project the hourglass appears for about 30 seconds, then the monitor goes into standby mode and nothing works until you reset power? I am running WinXP pro and MS office 2k. P.S. After rebooting I check on the saved file and it is there...weirdness. Posted by: Chopper Sounds like you've got some big problems It looks like you've got a hardware error somewhere. P4 1.5gig Intel 850GB MB 512meg RDRAM ATI Readon vivo 64meg DDR Aureal Vortex 2 D Link network card Publisher is the only program that does this. I have the complete office 2k premium and all the other programs in it save without a hitch. Posted by: Chopper What power supply are you using? Download all latest drivers for all of your hardware etc. Try re-installing publisher, and possibly test your memory. Posted by: morley Not sure on brand of P.S. but it is a P4 powersupply. Did the reinstall of pub already, no go. The RAM is fine, this is the ONLY program I have that gives any trouble, thought there might be a "known" issue with it and win XP.
