Ulead media studio ?

hi,

Am capturing my videos using Ulead media studio Pro v6.5 , the program stores the files in .avi format , (which i dont deny got good resolution than wmv done by movie maker ) BUT my problem is :

I found that recording 1 minute takes about 1g of hard drive !!!!!!!

Despite enormous hard drive space required , how could i burn something with the size of 60 g to a cd..??!!

My specific question is :

Is there a way to compress this file or reduce its size so i could burn it on a cd ( btw , the movie i did is uncompressed ) ?? if YES , how could this be done ??

Last thing , my FPS speed were 30 FPS , is this a good average speed ?? any suggestions to increase my Frame rate ?
