11-8-2009: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry Help me chose a digital video camGo to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: U_X_U Hello all! I'd like to get a digital video cam, and as it always happens, my budget is kind of limited. Do you happen to know a "best buy"? I have not much experience with these objects :). Posted by: U_X_U Not more than 600 -- 650 usd/eur. Arround 500 would be great :) Posted by: devlish96 you may want to take a look at these links... Or If you can recommend one of these or another cam that is better and at about the same price. Posted by: þÄ®âÐÖx I've only ever had experience with a Sony hi-8 cam before.. can't remember the model # though. All I know is it worked flawlessly - great picture and sound quality, easy to capture using Firewire, etc. I would definately reccommend a Sony cam based on my experiences. Posted by: randy I would recommend either a Sony or Canon brand name camera. Canon has some of the best optics I have seen.
