11-26-2009: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry Digital camera mb question?Go to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: BRoWZ Could someone tell how much photos 16mb can hold when used with a 2mp quality? and would it be good to buy a extra card?   Posted by: Harper Can vary camera to camera. I can a kodak 3.2MP Camera, and I can fit about 30 picture at best quality per 16Mb CF Card. I would suggest that you look at upgrading your DigiCam Memory Card. Personally I would not bother with looking at anything lower than 128Mb as there is really no saving. The only reason why smaller cards are still produced is that some DigiCams may not recognise bigger sizes. However you might be able to upgrade the firmware on the digicam in order to do this. So check with your user manual or manufacturers website before purchasing. Posted by: chrönik04 you should be able to turn the qual. up or down on the camera depending on how many pictures you want to store on the card. for ex. my 4mp nikon currently has a 128mb card. if i turn the quality on 'hi' and the image size on "2272"/max, i can take about 60 photos. now if i turn the image qual. on "basic" and size all the way down to "640" i can take over 1,000!
