11-8-2009: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry audio driversGo to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: bananaman I have a hp pavilion 532w. I lost all drivers when it crashed and I had to format the hard drive. I re-installed win 98 and have recovered a few drivers for my system. I can't identify the built in audio. I've already tried windows update and let it search for the driver and came up empty. I've also tried the manufacturers homepage and found nothing. Please, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreaciated. hp pavilion 532w windows 98 Posted by: þÄ®âÐÖx Try these drivers.. they might work for you. Posted by: þÄ®âÐÖx Yup.. it should be a Realtek ALC AC97 compatible chip.. so those drivers should work just fine :) Posted by: bananaman downloading now. I will let you know if they work. thx Posted by: bananaman Installed drivers and the sound works great. Many Thanks Posted by: þÄ®âÐÖx You're welcome!
