hi guys,
im just creating a website and i still need some icons (like [IMG]http://www.a51-clan.net/a51v6/images/profile.gif[/IMG])..
which software is suited best for that guys?
and do you know some tutorials how to create such icons by chance?
would really appreiciate it :)

Jil, the last time i checked there were very few free ones avialable. Here's one you can check into.

I have heard many good reviews of this one as well.

Just punch in "icon editor" into Google and you will get a ploethera of listings.

MicroAngelo is a really good one. [URL=http://xara.com/]Xara[/URL] also has some good software, but is not as specific for icons.
