11-9-2009: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry D.Y.I. Hardware Virus / Spam FilterGo to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: Harper I have a few customers that I looking at setting up a Hardware Spam Filter / Virus Filter on their computer network. The hardware is going to be some low end PC - PIII 500, 10 Gb Hard Drive, 2x NICs (or there abouts). I would like some suggestions on software that i could use for it. Some thing that is Windows Based would be prefered. Posted by: HoLoCroN Norton usually runs ok on lowe end PC's. Give it a shot, if you get the Internet Security, it will provide AV, Firewall and Spam controls. Posted by: Harper I did look at Nortons. However, i had a chat with the customer about this, and I found that a Win Proxy will most likely do every thing that he needs it to do with out having to set up Server 2k3. Therefore Reducing cost.
