"Fellowship of the ring" and XP

Do any of you know if "Fellowship of the ring" works with Windows XP. I know it says '98, 200 and ME on the box but as it is a new game I would have thought they would have made it XP compatible too, or maybe there is a patch?
My gaughter wants to give it to her boyfriend as a Christmas present so she doesn't want to spend money on it if it won't work :)

Might be worth checking out the companies website. I have no idea who makes it but i would've thought you'd be able to find the answer on there somewhere.

Yes it works on XP my friend has this game and he uses XP.

I couldn't find a varifiance to this, but 1.1 Patch may solve the problem, if there is one...
