9-3-2010: Sorry for the inconvenience. We finally upgraded to vBulletin 3 !! See you there, Larry Pc seems to short out...Go to the Tech-Forums Discussion Home PagePosted by: cokacola I just upgraded my graphix card to the bliss 7800gs agp, and now when i play certain high demanding games such as doom and san andreas the pc seems to short out leaving the power led on but nothing is happening. i have a bluestorm 500w psu and good cooling. my grapics card normal operating temp when playing a game is around 55oc, if anyone can help me out i would be really greatfull. Thanx Posted by: CrazeD Did you plug the power cord into the back of the videocard? Posted by: cokacola yes the pci express power supply bit. Posted by: CrazeD Did this only happen since you installed the new video card? My guess is the video card is drawing too much power from the PSU, try a better brand and see what happens. Posted by: cokacola yes i used to have the 5200fx and worked fine, also the psu isnt that old i think i bought it like 2 months ago and cost me a good 60£ :(.
